Job summary

MUHA's MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a PRN Echo Tech to perform echocardiography studies and assist cardiology with patient care. The role is hourly, PRN, with shift 8 hours and opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or military equivalent in Biomedical Technology or related field and a BLS certification, with 0–5 years of experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Biomedical Tech, Electronics, Imaging, or Nuclear tech.
• 5 years experience for support role or 0-2 years for professional.
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies to image heart structures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to provide accurate diagnostics.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols.
