Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) seeks an experienced Cardiac Echo Sonographer to operate specialized ultrasound equipment and perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms for diagnostic purposes. You will acquire and document cardiac data for physician interpretation, upholding patient safety and accreditation standards.

Eligibility requires graduation from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, ARDMS or CCI certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Work Experience 0-2 years.
• 1 year of echo experience for Sonographer II eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate cardiovascular ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality heart images.
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Accurately acquire and record data for physician interpretation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards.
