Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification with ARDMS/CCI registry in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
• Active registry and ongoing credential maintenance required.
• BLS/CPR certification for health care providers required.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-D, 3-D and M-Mode echocardiograms of the heart and vessels.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed consent as required.
• Prepare patients and position for imaging; provide care and education.
• Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment.
• Schedule and coordinate inpatient and outpatient exams with the scheduling clerk.
• Assist in training new hires and maintain accurate documentation.
