Job summary

Carson Valley Health is seeking an Echo Technologist for per diem work. Primary duties include performing diagnostic ultrasound exams of the heart for evaluation by the attending physician, with patient comfort and safety prioritized. Per diem status adds 15% to hourly rate; work is on an as-needed basis.

Certification options include RDCS, CCT, or RCS; BLS is required. One year of experience is highly preferred, and strong communication with staff and patients is essential.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; other credentials preferred.
• Minimum one year experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and clinical data.
• Explain procedure to patient and provide care, comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Perform echocardiography examinations and interpret with Cardiologist.
