Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka seeks an Echocardiograph Technologist for the Echo Unit. This per diem role involves 8-hour day shifts and diagnostic ultrasound imaging across patient age groups. You will contribute to quality control and act as a resource for junior staff.

Minimum qualifications include a cardiac echocardiography program and ARDMS RDCS or CCI CCDS certification with BLS. Perioperative and on-site teamwork are essential in this hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a cardiac echocardiography program approved by AMA/ABEA or equivalent training.
• National RDCS certification from ARDMS upon hire or CCDS certification from CCI upon hire.
• National Provider BLS through American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging per department standards for all ages.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Act as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers.
