Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health Highlands Ranch is seeking a Registered Sonographer to perform echocardiograms in a fast-paced, onsite setting. The role requires independent work, accurate imaging, and patient education throughout the exam process.

You will use appropriate transducers, adjust exposure factors, and ensure high-quality results while complying with scope of practice and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Sonographer with appropriate credentialing bodies.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program or related degree.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; CPR as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient on the procedure to ensure understanding.
• Independently perform echocardiography; select transducers and imaging parameters; assess structures for diagnosis.
• Prepare and administer contrast/medication when within scope; monitor patient condition.
