Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Echo Ultrasound training program.
• Registry eligibility in Cardiac Ultrasound preferred; RDCS accepted.
• RDCS or CCI registry eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Check two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures with empathy to patients under stress.
• Position patients and transfer them for exams per physician's specs.
• Acquire and review echocardiogram images; verify with PACS.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis.
