Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an experienced echocardiography technologist to perform clear and concise echocardiography and stress echo with Doppler, color flow, and pulsed wave analysis in a fast-paced lab in Massachusetts.

The incumbent must recognize abnormal findings, inform the cardiologist promptly, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with the health care team. Minimum 24 months of full-time clinical echocardiography experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months full-time clinical echocardiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtains clear and concise images of cardiac structures.
• Performs echocardiography with Doppler, color flow, and PW analysis.
• Communicates abnormal findings promptly to the cardiologist.
• Maintains readiness and organization of the echo lab and equipment.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in quality improvement.
• Orders and maintains supplies; ensures a clean work environment.
