Qualifications

• Certificate as an Echo Cardiographer is required.
• Associate’s degree in echocardiography preferred.
• One year experience.
• Current BLS/CPR is required.
• ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Bilingual English and Navajo language preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs resting, pharmacologic and treadmill stress echocardiography as requested.
• Prepares patients for tests and explanations of procedures.
• Documents reports and findings for physician review in a timely manner.
• Maintains health records with complete documentation of observations and interventions.
• Operates specialized equipment like cardiac monitors and echocardiography machines.
• Maintains HIPAA and HITECH compliance and professional conduct.
