Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to operate transthoracic and stress echocardiography in adult and geriatric patients, performing measurements and reports per protocol.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with cardiac ultrasound training and registry
• Registry within 1 year of hire or completion of Cardiac Ultrasound program with registry
• Experience in adult cardiac ultrasound and knowledge of cardiac anatomy & physiology

Responsibilities

• Operates transthoracic and stress echocardiography imaging per protocol for adult/geriatric patients
• Reviews history, prepares patient, and documents findings including technical sonographer report
• Provides ultrasound contrast and IV access as needed and assists with training others
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and adheres to safety standards
