Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT, is seeking an Echocardiology Technologist for a 13-week contract.

The role involves performing transthoracic echocardiograms, including limited and contrast studies, and working with cardiology and imaging teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have RDCS or RCS, BLS, and at least one year of echocardiography experience, plus strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and Doppler techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Echocardiography program.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• Current BLS certification; minimum 1 year echocardiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, limited and contrast studies per protocols.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images and measurements for interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams across inpatient, outpatient, ED and surgical settings.
• Communicate urgent findings when appropriate.
