Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Echocardiographer / Echo Technologist for immediate placement in Vermont. You will perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and related studies for diverse patient settings, ensuring accurate measurements and image quality for clinician interpretation.

Requirements include RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/CCI, BLS, and a minimum of 3 years' experience with travel; local hires welcome. Work schedule is four 8-hour days (32 hours) with weekly gross pay of $2,200.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
• Minimum 3 years echocardiography experience and travel experience.

Immediate need for a talented Echocardiographer / Echo Technologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols
• Produce accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process
• Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient history, optimize imaging, and recognize significant abnormalities
• Communicate urgent findings when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical settings
• Shift: Days – Monday–Friday, four 8-hour day shifts per week

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of echocardiography experience required
• Travel experience required
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships
• Holiday coverage not required
• Locals are accepted – no radius restriction
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
