Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR is seeking an Echocardiograph Technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound examinations and support physicians with invasive procedures. This full-time day-shift role includes a significant on-call component for evenings and weekends.

Qualified candidates will have Oregon Sonographer, ABTS/ARDMS-style credentials, and BLS certification, with experience in pediatric echo and transcatheter techniques preferred.

Qualifications

• Oregon Sonographer certification required at hire.
• NRC Cardiac Sonographer (CCGI) certification required at hire or equivalent.
• NAC Cardiac Sonographer (CCGI) certification required at hire or equivalent.
• NR Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) certification required at hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders using complex ultrasound equipment.
• Identify presence or absence of disease with knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography including TEE and echo-guided procedures.
• Modify procedures to meet special circumstances and provide clinically useful information.
• Comply with ASE standards and departmental policies and procedures.

800 exams performed
