Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician at Lutheran Hospital to perform diagnostic cardiac exams under physician direction, ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field. Full-time 36 hours/week with night/weekend/holiday call; includes up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will support the clinical team by preparing patients, conducting ultrasound exams, documenting results, mentoring peers, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Experience level: new to field or minimal experience in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare patients, educate on procedures, perform ultrasound exams per protocols, ensure safety and comfort.
