Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiac imaging or related field plus 2 years in cardiac imaging with 1 year independent echocardiography experience.
• Working knowledge of cardiology, hemodynamics, Doppler physics, and cardiac/vascular ultrasound technologies.
• RDCS or RCS certification at hire; RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized echocardiographic studies (transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, contrast) at UR Medicine facilities.
• Uses independent judgment to ensure accurate anatomical, pathological and clinical data are captured in images.
• Maintains equipment, safety standards, and contributes to education of fellows and students.
