Job summary

UC Health's University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer for the Echo Lab on First Shift. You will perform echocardiographic studies to assess cardiac function, anatomy and flow parameters using a variety of equipment.

The ideal candidate has a two-year Allied Health degree with completion of a 12-month sonography program and registry eligibility (ARDMS/CCI).

Qualifications

• Two-year Allied Health degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of a 12-month ultrasound technology program or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARDMS/CCI certification within 12 months of employment or registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies with various equipment to assess cardiac function.
• Provide clear patient instructions and involve family when appropriate.
• Operate Epic scheduling and document results; maintain data confidentiality.
• Conduct 2D, 3D, AFI and stress echocardiograms and record findings accurately.
• Maintain high-quality study standards and adhere to safety protocols.
