Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring an Echocardiographer to perform comprehensive heart ultrasound exams, including 2D, Doppler, transesophageal and pharmacological stress testing, in collaboration with cardiology.

The role requires RCCS/RCS/RDCS registry within 12 months of hire and ACLS/BLS within 90 days, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time days position.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology or a High School Diploma with significant experience per IAC guidelines.
• Registry: RCCS, RDCS or RCS within 12 months of hire; ACLS and BLS within 90 days.
• Performs 2D echocardiograms, Doppler, transesophageal and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to assess heart and vessel function.
• Completes technologist report in the structured report application.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D echo, Doppler, transesophageal and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart disease and blood flow.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and determine patient care.
• Complete and file the technologist report in the designated system.
