Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer to perform Echo and related tests in multiple labs. The role includes day shifts with on-call requirements, and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, including new grads.

Responsibilities include performing Echo, Stress Echo, TEE, and Doppler studies, plus bedside imaging across several hospital areas. Requires IAC-guided education, RCCS/RCS/RDCS within 12 months, and BLS/ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program per IAC guidelines (required).
• Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS/RCS/RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
• BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days.
• Experience as Echocardiographer is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform Echo, Stress Echo, and Doppler studies to evaluate heart disease and blood flow.
• Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and pharmacologic stress tests.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP, Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside settings.
• Complete technologist reports in the structured reporting system.
• Maintain patient care and safety during imaging procedures.
• Assist with various departments and ensure timely test completion.
