Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology.
• 1 year of on-the-job skill training preferred; patient care and safety skills, detail-oriented, team-focused.
• Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonography.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen, pelvic, OB, vascular, carotid, venous and arterial Doppler exams.
• Position and immobilize patients to ensure safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, perform TEE procedures, stress echo and other orders as prescribed.
• Review images for quality and adequate coverage; record patient data and test outcomes accurately.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri is hiring a CardiacEcho Sonographer for our Cardiology Department at our main hospital —someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positivelyimpactevery patient and family we serve.

• Hours: 10 Hours/Week

What Your Day Looks Like

The Cardiology Department has two ultrasound rooms, one stress lab, and one procedure room. Patient load includes outpatient, in-patient, and ER.

As a Cardiac Echo Technologist, you will be:

• Performingroutine diagnostic abdomen, OB, pelvic and small part ultrasound examinations; also performingvascular, carotid, venous, and arterial Doppler exams.
• Positioning and / or immobilizing patients in accordance with typeof procedures to be administered and maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout examination
• Operating ultrasound equipment to performexaminationsincluding TEE procedures, stress echo, and other procedures as ordered
• Reviewing images for quality and adequate coverage of areas needed
• Accurately recording patient data and test outcomes

Qualifications

• Education:Completion of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
• Skills: 1 year of acquired on-the-job skill training is preferred; patient care and safety skills, detail-oriented, team-focused
• Licensure/Certification:Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonography
• Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts
