Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center seeks an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for per diem, part-time coverage in Augusta and Waterville, ME. The ideal candidate is ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certified, with hospital experience preferred, and proficient in EMR systems.

You will review orders, educate patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Solid computer skills including EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders and educate patient on procedures.
• Prepare equipment, administer contrast within scope, and monitor patient.
• Position patient and perform imaging, assess image quality, and report results.
