Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer I to manage the echo lab's daily operations, maintain equipment, and drive quality improvements. The role requires proficiency in basic transthoracic and transesophageal echoes with a focus on accurate diagnostic information.

Applicants should hold a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree, and be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS). Experience is preferred and collaboration with cardiology is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Program is preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials (RDCS or RCS) required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operations of the echo lab and equipment maintenance.
• Report equipment failures and contribute to quality improvement.
• Work closely with Cardiologist to obtain optimal echocardiography quality.
