Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is seeking an Echocardiogram Sonographer to join our Imaging Services team. You will perform cardiac ultrasound studies, including 2-D/3-D imaging and Doppler, under physician supervision, ensuring accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires an Allied Health degree, current BLS, and strong attention to detail. We offer a full-time schedule with day shifts and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team at NARMC.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Allied Health.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment, including 2-D, 3-D imaging, and Doppler tracings.
• Calculate, measure, and document appropriate test values for physician review.
• Monitor patient clinical conditions during procedures and communicate changes to physicians and staff.
• Operate ultrasound systems safely and effectively to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Collaborate with physicians to integrate sonographic data for optimal diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Respond appropriately to patient needs and ensure a positive patient experience.
