Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks a Cardiovascular Sonographer to produce ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures for physician use in diagnosing heart disease.

Formal training in cardiac ultrasonography is required, along with BLS certification; IAC registration within 2 years of hire is expected. Experience is preferred. Concord Hospital is an Equal Opportunity employer.

EDUCATION

Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level, in Cardiac Ultrasonography.

CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION & LICENSURE

Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association. Registration required to obtain: Registry in accordance with International Accreditation Committee (IAC) guidelines within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.

EXPERIENCE

Experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is preferred.
