Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with expertise in Echocardiography to perform cardiac ultrasound exams for adult and geriatric patients. You will provide preliminary reports to cardiologists and help ensure high-quality imaging in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent in sonography, preferably 2 years of echocardiography experience, and ARDMS/CCI certification within 12 months. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in sonography.
• Preferred 2 years of full-time clinical experience specializing in adult echocardiography.
• RDCS (AR DMS) or RCS certification within 12 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment; ensure safety and infection control.
• Participate in on-call rotation and bedside echocardiography when needed.
