Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System seeks a Cardiac Ultrasonography professional to perform ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures, aiding physicians in diagnosis and study of heart disease.

Two years of formal training in Cardiac Ultrasonography are required; BLS certification is mandatory, and IAC registry must be obtained within 2 years of hire. Experience in cardiac ultrasonography is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training or education beyond high school in Cardiac Ultrasonography.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association.
• Registration in accordance with International Accreditation Committee (IAC) guidelines within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures for use by Physician in diagnosis and study of heart disease.
