Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled cardiac sonographer to perform 2-D, M-mode, color Doppler and echocardiography tests for adult and geriatric patients. This role supports the growing cardiology program in the Atlanta area.

The ideal candidate will hold RDCS, RCS/RCCS or ACS credentials and BLS certification; professional society membership and a strong educational background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an appropriate credential in echocardiography.
• Credentials accepted: RDCS (ARDMS), RCS or RCCS (CCI), CRCS (Sonography Canada), ACS (CCI).
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound according to IAC standards.
