Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is expanding its ECHO & EKG Lab and offering full-time inpatient and ER positions with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The role requires an accredited Radiology program graduate and 2 years of echocardiography experience, with on-site duties, on-call weekends, and occasional cross-town travel for echoes.

Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography is essential, along with Philips iE33/EPIQ system familiarity.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Technical or Associate degree program in Radiology.
2 years of professional experience with intermediate level echocardiography or vascular skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Must be registered cardiac sonographer credentialing options at time of hire: RCS or RDCS.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures and obtain clinical history to tailor imaging and obtain diagnostic echocardiograms.
Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures and obtain necessary measurements.
Identify cardiac abnormalities and correlate findings with anatomy and function.
Assist physicians in procedure rooms to support echocardiography studies.
Record statistics, maintain equipment, and support ICAEL accreditation efforts.
