Position Overview

This position involves performing Echocardiograms on patients within the Cardiology department, along with related duties.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Perform Echocardiograms/Ultrasounds of the heart according to standard procedures.
  2. Document all readings, measurements, and technical information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  3. Provide Echocardiogram reports to the assigned Physician for interpretation.
  4. Ensure high-quality patient care during the study and meet ICAEL standards.
  5. Conduct Patient Education following standard procedures.
  6. Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DPH).
  7. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
  8. Engage in professional development through educational programs and seminars.
  9. Participate in meetings, conferences, and seminars as required.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  11. Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Required Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma plus specialized courses.
  2. Graduation from an accredited and licensed Echocardiography program.
  3. Certification in Adult Echocardiography.
  4. Proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical health adequate to meet ergonomic demands of the role.
