Job summary

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking an Echocardiographer-Vascular Technologist to join our Radiology team. This position provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, adapting care to age-specific needs.

It is a full-time role (1.0 FTE) with varied shifts, requiring graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS/CCI credentials, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• One or more years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred but not required.
• ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS.
• Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Uses patient information and age to provide care and demonstrates understanding of age-specific needs.

Education

Graduation from JRC/CEC accredited ultrasound program

ARDMS RDCS or RVT, CCI RCS or RVS credentials

Current CPR certification or within 90 days of hire
