Job summary

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT is seeking an ECG Tech to perform ECGs, rhythm strips, and related monitoring tasks.

The role includes ensuring equipment functionality, supporting patient care during emergencies, and managing holter monitor processes. The Journey level ECG tech will pursue a TEE probe cleaning certification and is in the process of obtaining a Certified Cardiographic Technician certificate.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• 1 year experience as an Associate ECG technician or 1 year ECG/EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and rhythm strips with accuracy.
• Ensure equipment functionality and support patient care during cardiac emergencies.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and manage holter monitor processes.
• Provide patient education while developing proficiency in cardiac rhythms.
