Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Sugar Land, TX is seeking an Electrocardiogram Technician to perform ECGs, Holter monitoring, Holter scanning and Stress Testing according to physician orders.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED with Basic Arrhythmia Course; CPR/BCLS certification; and six months of related experience is preferred. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and quality in testing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with Basic Arrhythmia Course.
• Six months of experience preferred in ECG, Holter monitoring and stress testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Electrocardiogram, Holter monitor and Stress Test exams, ensuring procedural quality.
• Explain procedures and manage multi-patient task lists with prioritization.
• Report accidents, equipment malfunctions, and respond to Code Blue as required.
• Present ECG tracings to physicians for interpretation per hospital process.
• Maintain safety, infection control and adherence to Memorial Hermann standards.
