Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Florida or eligible per state compact upon hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification upon hire.
• ACLS Provider certification upon hire.
• 1–3 years experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care with patient and family to address identified needs.
• Implements medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for patient care.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care to support care coordination and quality.
• Performs TEE and Cardioversion procedures with anesthesia, recovers and discharges the patient.
• Performs Stress testing on IP and OP, administers cardiac medications as required.
• Performs Tilt Table testing.
• Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure; pursues professional growth.
• Must be available for on-call assignments and may be required to remain on campus during severe weather or disasters.
• Assist in other duties as assigned to support department operations.
