Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment for clinical exams and invasive procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will provide patient services, apply knowledge of anatomy and pathology, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff.

Required certifications include AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BCLS, RCS, ARDCS, CCI, and one year of related hospital experience.

Qualifications

AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (Required)
1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer (Required)
BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Required)
ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Required)
CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Required)

Responsabilités

Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatric).
Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.
