Job summary

Summa Health in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Certified Device Technician with experience in device clinics. This role involves providing quality patient care and assisting in the evaluation of patients with cardiac implanted electronic devices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, knowledge of electrophysiology, and the capability to effectively interact with patients. Compensation ranges from $21.54 to $25.86 per hour, based on experience and location.

Certified Device Technician with at least 3 years of device clinic experience preferred.

Certified Medical Assistants with cardiology experience will be considered.

Knowledge of electrophysiology and cardiac devices such as ICDs, pacemakers, loop recorders, and device monitoring systems preferred.

Summary

Provides quality patient care for office and hospital patients following Summa’s established standards and practices and consistent with Summa’s mission values. Assists in the evaluation of patients with cardiac implanted electronic devices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of medical assisting certified cardiovascular technician with 3 years’ experience

Experience & Training Required

• Certified cardiovascular technician with 3 years’ experience

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

• Demonstrate technical knowledge to assist in the care of patients with cardiac implantable devices
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self‑respect and dignity

Compensation

$21.54/hr – $25.86/hr (base hourly rate exclusive of bonuses or differentials; salary determined by experience and location).
