Job summary

IQVIA LLC in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a Part Time Clinical Consultant to provide case support, patient management, and education for accounts within an assigned franchise/region. The role centers on ventricular medical devices and requires strong clinical skills in CICU/CVICU or Cath Lab settings.

The candidate should have an RN/APP license and at least 3 years of cardiac-critical care experience, with extensive ventricular device exposure. Some travel, weekend coverage, and flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with a strong clinical background in the Cardiac ICU (CICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), or Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) required; CVICU experience highly preferred.
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported).
• Must provide a minimum of 2 days of live field support monthly (case support, patient rounding, education), including 1 weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of our products/therapies and understand their applications.
• Improve patient outcomes by delivering ventricular medical device education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings.
• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support.
• Complete proactive rounds for patients receiving support and provide assistance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center for ongoing support and maintain clinical competency.
