Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Part Time Clinical Consultant to support case management, patient education, and field services across assigned accounts. The role emphasizes ventricular device education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings, with on-call support and proactive patient rounds.

The candidate should have an RN or APP license, 3+ years in CICU/CVICU/CVOR or Cath Lab, and significant ventricular device experience. Some travel and weekend work are required; immunizations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have clinical certification; RN/APP license strongly preferred or relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with a strong clinical background in CICU/CVICU/CVOR or Cath Lab; CVICU highly preferred.
• Some industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported).
• Must provide a minimum of 2 days of live support in the field (case support, patient rounds, education) with total of 5 days per month.
• Availability must include 1 weekend per month.
• Ability to work on weekends, nights, holidays as well as weekdays.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
• Position may require up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of products/therapies and their applications.
• Improve patient outcomes by delivering ventricular medical device education in settings like ICU, OR, and Cath Lab.
• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support.
• Complete proactive rounds for patients receiving support and provide assistance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for ongoing support as necessary.
• Maintain clinical competency in current product line and patient management through continual learning and education.
• Some travel may be needed.
