Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, part of Trinity Health, seeks a cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to join its cardiothoracic surgery program. The APP serves as first assist in cardiac and thoracic operations and manages the CVICU and step-down unit.

You will collaborate with CT surgeons and a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume program, supporting robotic and complex procedures, with strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Valid Idaho controlled substance registration; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Vein harvest experience required.
• Prior APP experience in cardiac disease management.

Responsibilities

• Act as first assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations.
• Manage the CVICU and step-down unit.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons and multidisciplinary team.
