Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to join our CTS program. The APP will be the first assist in all cardiac and thoracic surgeries and will manage the CVICU and step-down unit, working with a dedicated team.

This full-time position offers a multi-shift schedule and shared call, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement, PTO, CME, and tail coverage.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Valid Idaho controlled substance registration; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Vein harvest experience required.
• Oregon medical licensure to maintain internal program across communities we serve.
• Previous advanced practice provider experience in cardiac disease management.

Responsibilities

• First assist in all cardiac and thoracic operations.
• Manage the CVICU and the step-down unit.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons in inpatient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
