Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of joining.
• CMA certification from NCCT, AAMA, NHA, AMT, AMCA, NAHP, or other recognized bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assist during patient examinations and treatments under a physician's guidance.
• Set up treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness after procedures.
• Escort patients from waiting area and prepare them for examinations.
• Document medical histories and interview patients.
• Take and record patient vitals and perform routine tests (EKG, specimen collection).
• Administer medications as instructed by the physician.
• Change dressings and remove sutures/staples.
• Handle administrative tasks like scheduling and calls.
• Support teamwork and mentor staff through huddles/meetings.
