SolutionHealth's Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (CICU) is seeking nursing students who will train under RNs in a 47-bed unit in Manchester, NH, and who are expected to graduate within the next year. This role introduces you to CICU care and supports a smooth transition into a New Graduate Nurse position.

The position involves ADL assistance, basic patient care, and teamwork under Elliot Health System policies. Requires NH LNA license and imminent graduation; schedule is 36 hours over 6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be current nursing student expected to graduate within 1 year.
• Current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant license required.
• BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Models Elliot Essentials behavior with patients, peers and health care team.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Performs basic clinical tasks under RN direction within LNA scope.
• Documents observations and changes in patient condition per policy.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality and supports family education.
