Overview

Pride Health is hiring for a Cath Lab Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Boston, MA. This is a local contract or travel contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Cardiologist, the Cardiac Catheterization Technologist performs functions related to hemodynamic and imaging procedures in the Cardiolog y department. Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with cardiac caths, structural heart, and endovascular procedures
• Performing procedures independently with minimal supervision
• Taking emergency call coverage
• Operating within a department that includes two cath labs and a PV lab

Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Experience with Impella, Telemetry, and IABP
• Ability to read telemetry strips independently
• Must pass telemetry exam on Day 1 with 85% or higher
• IR (Interventional Radiology) experience preferred

Certifications

• MA RT License or CVIS License (Mandatory)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

Additional Information

• Job Type: 13 weeks- local contract or travel contract
• Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s (40 hours/week)
• Typical Start: 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM
• Call required for emergency procedures
• Pay Range/Salary Range: $3126/wk to $3326/wk
