Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or Radiology license
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Marks images for accuracy
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures
• Explain procedures and inform patients of progress
• Observe equipment and report malfunctions
• Perform Daily X-ray checks
• Utilize information system to manage cases
• Post-process images
• Preceptor/trainer for new tech and procedures
• Assist with prompt room turnover
• Ensure study data is accurate and complete
• Monitor patient status during procedures and communicate findings
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre/post instructions
