Job Description

Directly responsible for the maintenance, functioning, and operation of all x-ray equipment in the department. He/she will work closely with nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including some late or early cases.

Qualifications
  • Positive moral standing, good organizational and communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or Certification in Radiologic Technology is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Current Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Current NJ DEP Licensure to practice in New Jersey.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Successful completion of department-specific orientation and certifications, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within the 3-month introductory period.
