Job Description

Directly responsible for the maintenance, functioning, and operation of all x-ray equipment in the department. The technician will work closely with nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The role requires flexible hours to cover late or early cases and participation in an on-call rotation during off-hours, weekends, and holidays for emergencies such as STEMI cases.

Qualifications

• Positive moral standing, good organizational and communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certification in Radiologic Technology preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus.
• Current Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Current NJ DEP Licensure to practice in New Jersey.
• Current BLS Certification.
