Nemours is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory in Wilmington, DE. This casual, on-site position supports pediatric cardiac care with a focus on diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nursing and at least 3 years in pediatrics/Cath Lab/EP, with BLS and PALS; ACLS preferred. You will collaborate with physicians and provide high-quality patient care across a busy Cath Lab team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of pediatric cath lab and EP procedures experience.
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS are required; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in clinical data collection and patient monitoring.

• Monitor patient status and collect data for quality control and reporting.

The Cardiac Catheterization RN operates sophisticated equipment and provides patient care during Catheterization procedures. Assists the physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies and interpreting hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiographic tracings. Assist cardiologists in device implantation procedures and surgeons in completion of surgical procedures in the Cath Lab.Assists in the operation and maintenance of fluoroscopic, digital image recording and electrophysiologic equipment.Assists in the development of policies and procedures. Collects data for quality control programs. Assists with inventory controls and maintenance of computer reports. Patient care is individualized to the age/developmental, psycho-social-cultural patient need.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Pediatrics, Cath Lab and EP procedures
• An American Heart Association BLS and PALS
• ACLS preferred
