Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for PRN shifts. You will work with physicians to perform advanced cardiac and vascular procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology, supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or Vocational training, ARRT-R radiography or RCIS certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Previous cath lab experience highly valued; benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification required.
• Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
• One year experience in Special Procedures and/or Cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepares and supports patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operates and maintains cath lab equipment for safe treatment.
• Monitors patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintains a sterile environment and advocates for patient safety.
