Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (PRN) to join the team in Broward County. You will assist physicians with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the care journey.

With access to state-of-the-art cath lab technology and a strong multidisciplinary team, you will safeguard sterile conditions, monitor responses, and support high-quality outcomes for our patients.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate is required.
• Must have one of the following credentials: ARRT-R Radiography, CCT, RCIS, RDCS, State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, LPN, Certified Surgical Technologist, or State Paramedic Certification.
• RCIS or ARRT must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
