Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Special Procedures Tech to provide technical support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures at Advocate Sherman Hospital. The role requires knowledge of radiology, radiation safety, and patient care under physician supervision, with opportunities for professional growth.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm with 8–11 days of call per month. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Illinois RT license and AART registry required.
• Must have 2 years interventional procedural experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Must sit for RT Boards within 6 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Provide patient care specific to procedural requirements under supervision.
• Support and educate patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work environment.
