Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient care.
• BLS certification required; RCIS/RCES or equivalent credential preferred or required within 18 months.
• Completion of accredited programs in cardiovascular technology or radiology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory for studies and calibrate recording equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during procedures.
• Assist physician as scrub assistant and document hemodynamic data.
• Assist with patient transport and provide education to patients and families.
• Maintain sterile setup and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Record and prepare cardiac data for physician interpretation.
