Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Special Procedures Technician II for the Cath Lab. This full-time, day-shift role assists the cardiologist in invasive cardiovascular procedures, prepares patients, and maintains procedure integrity.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology (or related field), BLS/ACLS, and preferred RCIS/RCES or CI certification. Candidates contribute to high-quality patient care within a Catholic healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
• RCIS/RCES (CCI) or CI (ARRT) certification preferred.
• BLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of the cardiovascular lab team, assisting the cardiologist and team leader.
• Preps for incoming patients and compiles patient histories.
• Monitors patient condition during invasive procedures and communicates changes to the team.
• Scrubs for procedures and assists with invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Schedules patients for specialized diagnostic procedures and coordinates transport.
